testing
We optimize our work for the latest browsers, Netscape Communicator 4 and
Microsoft Internet Explorer 4. As you may know, these have taken
divergent paths when it comes to higher functions, so we as a
rule stick with the cross-platform compatible elements of JavaScript
1.2, unless you specify otherwise.
However, we also develop all of the pages to be readable on the
least common denominator computer. This means that no matter how
fancy your site is, the person with an old computer, old software,
a small (640x480) screen, and even a slow modem will be able to
use your site. All important graphic navigation buttons are backed
up with text, for people who choose not to load graphics when
they browse. We test the site on older Apple and PC compatible
computers, using Netscape 2 and Internet Explorer 2, the pre-Java
browsers. They're free, after all.
If you really want to have a spicy site with advanced features
in either or both of these browsers, we can program parallel sites,
or even multiple path sites with non-Java and non-table versions.
At any rate, after we've tested the site, we'll put it on a server
for public access, and then we will help you with your launch.
