MEGAWORLD PROPERTIES & HOLDINGS, INC. (MPHI) is a master developer of large-scale projects set in prime locations in Metro Manila. It was founded in 1989 by industrialist Andrew L. Tan with a mission to undertake development and redevelopment work in existing urban centers, making use of scarce land to provide high-quality housing and office space to accommodate urban communities.

Indeed, with relentless drive for growth, the company is well positioned to surpass its accomplishment through its line up of projects and plans not only for 1996 but over the years to come. With the company's robust performance, there is no doubt that the tradition of structural excellence will definitely live on.

Planning & Design

All Megaworld projects undergo a comprehensive planning and design process with emphasis on aesthetic value and structural durability. The Company has collaborated with some of the most prominent names in the international construction industry, among them Skidmore Owings & Merrill (New York), the world's largest architectural firm, London-Based Ove Arup & Partners, structural engineers of the 78-storey Central Plaza in Hongkong, and Hirsch/Bedner & Associates (Los Angeles), interior designer among premier hotels worldwide.

Ongoing Developments

Ongoing developments of the Company includes The World Centre, considered the Megaworld masterpiece, a 32-level ultra-modern office tower in Makati sheathed in shining glass curtain wall. One Lafayette Square and Two Lafayette Square, both a 28-story residential condominium in Makati's Salcedo Village which seeks to recreate the distinctive Neoclassical design concept in a Philippine urban setting. The Richmond Plaza, an office/hotel project in the highly-developed Ortigas Center. Central Business Park, a self-contained industrial complex along Amang Rodriguez Avenue in Pasig, and two townhouse communities, the Sherwood Heights and Brentwood Heights in Multinational Village, Parañaque and other on-going projects includes Petron Megaplaza , World Finance Plaza both office edifice, Wack Wack Heights cluster of townhouses, The Salcedo Park Towers I & II located at Dela Costa, Makati, Kentwood Heights in Quezon City, The Manhattan Square at Valero St., Makati and The Sheraton Marina Square along A.
